Victorian is a type of fashion that comprises the various fashions and trends in British culture that emerged and developed in the United Kingdom and the British Empire throughout the Victorian era, roughly from the 1830s through the 1890s.

    • Hats were essential for victorian fashion. Top hats were a popular choice for men. For women, type of hat changed through out the 30s-90s. In the 30s and Regency period, Poke Bonnets were popular. Toward the end of the victorian era, women favored large, extravagant hats with silk flowers, ribbons, and especially exotic plumes.
