Being coined on-wiki doesn't make it bad[]
Okay, so I 100% agree the media list is a hot mess (what the page needs is examples of media DRAWN in the style, not whatever the constellation of artists were into in general).
However, the art style is a pretty coherent enough aesthetic that it shows up in revival/retro aesthetics stuff (as I noted in a now unilaterally deleted edit on 2010s Meme Maximalism). Circeus (talk) 19:49, 11 September 2025 (UTC)
