Changes: Pastel Goth

Pastel Goth (not to be confused with Gurokawa or Nu-Goth) is a fashion and aesthetic that originated on Tumblr in early 2010. The fashion entails taking the basic elements of dark goth style and mixing it with pastel colors. It also became popularized in Japan by Harajuku fashion icons like, Juria Nakagawa and the fashion would soon take influence from the Creepy-Cute aesthetic, meshing the two aesthetics together. Pastel Goth motifs can also be seen in other J-fashion styles like Lolita and Fairy-Kei.

Pastel Hair (Mint green, pink, light turquoise, red, light blue, and lavender)
- In some cases, hair color can be split into two different colors

Platform sneakers (creepers), Doc Martens, Chuck Taylors, or doll-inspired shoes
Button up shirts and blouses
Spiked accessories
Pastel pullovers
Anything made by creepyyeha
Black lipstick or pastel lipstick
Eyeball-patterned, black, or pastel bows
Corsets in dark and baby pinks and purples
Skull leggings or pre-torn stockings
Black snapbacks or bonnets
Flower headbands

Music

Many pastel goths listen to Melanie Martinez and other artists with a babyish theme.
