Mothcore is a nature-related aesthetic similar to corvidcore and gremlincore. It is focused on moths, earthy tones, mushrooms, and plants.

History[]

The decade of origin may be the 2020s due to cottagecore and similar aesthetics being widely popular. Though this aesthetic has probably already existed, the term "Mothcore" was coined by the user @w1ggly_w0rm.

Fashion[]

Mothcore fashions includes midi or maxi skirts, boots, sweaters, and lots of jewelry with brown, green, and red.
