List of Aesthetics
A master list of named aesthetics, sorted from A - Z.

The list is by no means complete, so if you cannot find a particular aesthetic on this list, feel free to write a short article and add it here. We rely on the help of contributors like you to expand, so every article is appreciated. If you have any questions on how to use the Wiki, feel free to ask any of the admins. We'll be more than happy to either help you personally or point you in the direction of somebody who can. If you want to contribute information to the Wiki, please look at our Needs Work category. Here, you can see how you can help contribute by either researching a particular aesthetic or providing information you may already have on a particular aesthetic.

Important: Please do not vandalize a page if you find that particular aesthetic offensive. While it's simple to revert an article to a previous state, it is still an inconvenience for everyone involved. If you have concerns about the validity of an aesthetic, submit the article as a Candidate for Deletion or reach out to one of the admins. We will work with you to make sure the wiki is the best place it can be for everyone involved.

Help for Aesthetics

If you need assistance with identifying your aesthetic or creating a moodboard, feel free to ask questions in the official Aesthetics Wiki Discord server or on the official Aesthetics Wiki Subreddit. Also, feel free to check out the Aesthetic Superchannel! We will no longer allow comments on the Wiki for the sake of everybody's sanity and the worry some newer users may have of getting ignored for their official Aesthetic Diagnosis.

Admins Notes

  • We're currently making plans to revamp this page to not only make it easier to navigate, but to help you take the steps to be able to possibly form your aesthetic blends and maybe even make something new so you can go out and showcase your true self.
  • Before you make a page for something, MAKE SURE YOU CHECK TO SEE IF THERE ISN'T ALREADY A PAGE FOR THE AESTHETIC YOU HAVE IN MIND! We've been having an uptick in making redundant pages for aesthetics that already exist on the Wiki. Just double-check before you make a page, please. This also includes aesthetics based on preexisting media; more often than not, the aesthetic that can best sum up that media is probably already on the Wiki, so add all information to the aesthetic that fits. If you're unsure about if an aesthetic for something already exists, don't be afraid to reach out to TheInternetTombRaider's Message Wall (or swing by the Aesthetics Wiki Discord) and pitch your idea. If it already exists, we'll put you in that direction.
  • When you're assigning categories for pages, please do not make "Aesthetic" a category you assign. It's the Aesthetics Wiki; assigning the category "Aesthetic" to a page on a Wiki dedicated to cataloging Aesthetics is rather redundant. We know it's an Aesthetic; it's on the Aesthetics Wiki.
  • The comments have been turned off for all pages. If you need help identifying your aesthetic, please either go to the Aesthetics Wiki subreddit or the Aesthetics Wiki Discord. We will help you out there.

Aesthetics 101: An Explanation into Aesthetic Culture

The pages made for this section will help you to gain an understanding of the various elements that come together to create the various aesthetics you will find.

  1. Colour Theory
  2. Suffix Meanings
  3. Philosophy
  4. Visuals
  5. Fashion
  6. Music
  7. Subgenres (Coming Soon)
  8. Blending: Comparable & Contrasting Aesthetics

Here are various lists that sort aesthetics by their major components and imagery.

Entries on color are not aesthetics themselves but rather pages that serve as indexes, information on symbolism, and color coordinating suggestions.

If you're looking for a potential entry point for an specific aesthetic-centric fashion style; Aesthenticals and Freshhoods are a good point. If you want to get more specific with the fashions, there should be links to websites where you can support some smaller businesses on the specific aesthetic page.
