Mainstream

"Mainstream" or "basic" aesthetics are held by a large amount of people and will not look out of the norm in normal society. There is also the additional tag "basic." "Basic" is a term describing aesthetics and styles that follow the norm and current trends to a point where a person could be called un-unique and stereotypical if they follow the aesthetic. Another more recent umbrella term for basic or mainstream is "cheugy", referring to out-of-date trends and aesthetics considered uncool by present day standards.
