Reason: Several aesthetics need to be removed.

This category is intended to represent aesthetics that have demonstrably originated within and are widely associated with the broader Hispanic cultural sphere. However, it is important to recognize that "Hispanic" encompasses a vast and diverse group of distinct countries and cultures, each with its own unique history, traditions, and artistic expressions. Therefore, this category should only be used with caution and only when absolutely necessary, to avoid the risk of harmful overgeneralizations. This category may also include Hispanic diaspora aesthetics that embrace the Hispanic label, such as certain forms of hip-hop or Cholo culture.

Clarifications[]

"Hispanic" is defined by the Spanish language, not a single culture. Spanish-speaking regions include diverse languages, Indigenous cultures, and national identities. "Hispanic" overlaps with but is not the same thing as "Latin American," which includes Portuguese and French-speaking countries such as Brazil and Haiti. Do not use this category to erase cultural differences. For example, Reggaeton might be included here due of its popularity accross Spanish-speaking countries, but aesthetics that are specific to Mexico, like Mexican Muralism, will not be included. Prioritize specific national or regional categories when possible.
