Creepy

Creepy aesthetics are off-putting in that they contain elements typically associated with elements of horror. There are different approaches to this genre and descriptor, but there is a common feeling of foreboding because of suggestions of death or the unknown. Some elements that can be included are:

• Decay
• Gore, skulls, blood, etc.
• Insanity and loss of reality
• Malicious outside forces that you cannot control, such as serial killers or supernatural beings
• Occult imagery such as ghosts

The differences in feeling can largely differ, from awkward amusement, chills, and even full-blown terror.
