Bugcore is an aesthetic inspired by animals that are classified as arthropods. This includes a wide range of animals from sea-dwellers like lobsters, isopods, shrimp, and crabs to land-dwellers like butterflies, spiders, bees, and roaches.

Arthropods are some of the most adaptive and diverse lifeforms. Even when two arthropods look similar, they are likely to be designed for different means. Arthropods are some of the oldest forms of life to exist, and and have continuously evolved to keep up with their environment. Some arthropods have a sense of community, and have achieved excellence through combined efforts; though many of them have low intelligence, as a unit they somewhat appear as an orderly well-functioning machine.

Arthropods as a theme represents diversity, endurance, and camaraderie. However, through the concept of camaraderie hivemind, it also has the flaw of sheep mindedness.

Fashion

The anatomy of most, if not all arthropods, are armor-like outsides and soft insides. However, many arthropods are delicate, yet crafty. Bugs are sophisticated, yet elaborate. They walk the line between simple and exaggerated. Most of the time, the general shape will be simple, but it will include many certain qualities akin to nobility.
