- The aesthetic must have a recognizable visual style, not just a feeling, hobby, or song.
- We document existing cultural trends. If you have created a personal aesthetic that doesn't have a community yet, please use the Personal Aesthetics Wiki.
- Keep pages focused. Describe the visual style rather than just listing every piece of media from that era.
- Articles must have a minimum of 100 words.
- Criticize ideas, not people. Bigoted language and hate speech are strictly prohibited.
- Do not hound users, make threats, or post on message walls against a user's wishes.
- Do not disrupt the wiki by engaging in "edit warring." Productive discussion and consensus-building should be prioritized.
- Do not deliberately provoke others to incivility or engage in "rules lawyering."
