2010s Internet's prime dured from 2007 to the mid-2010s AFAIK, so I am creating this post just to know if there is a subaesthetic related to the 2010s Internet decline (like the Frutiger Aero's decline that is called "Flat Metro" for example, but it's not the case now).

I understand you a bit, but what do you mean by "transition"? didnt frutiger aero and frutiger metro originate in the same year or something? Also i think your mean by that flat metro subgenre, right?

I was thinking about that because I started to get interested in roots/early versions of certain things. I am asking it in a sense of similarity, so I wanna know which specific aesthetic(s) have something in common with Frutiger Metro and came before Frutiger Metro, regardless of being the exact origin or not.
I will call it "Maximalism Splatter" until I find the real name for it.

I used a website called Friv a lot circa 2016-2018, a plataform of various flash games. These games were a mix of Proto-Flat and Superflat Pop and i'll never forget when my friend played Fireboy and Watergirl with me (in the same computer lmao). Lmk y'all experiences too!
Hello, so I remember seeing 2000's flash player games/animations in internet that have frutiger metro/flat looking design and I'm thinking on calling it "Proto-Flat Web" (flash player stuff that have a flat design "prototype", flat design before 2012 or whatever).
