Technically she’s an oc for the band Ghost, but as you can see she doesn’t fit in with their vibe much (lol) so I will probably redraw her in the Perpetua costume at some point. But I wanted to first get her more humanlike design down so I could have a better aspect of her character.

My mom got me this knockoff Labubu plushie as a gift, and though I love her with all my heart and I’m certain she only had my best interests at heart, I cannot stand Labubus (Due to overconsumption, over-saturation on social media, and general dislike). I can’t make it a chimera because it has a sort of awkward shape that makes it hard to work with, and returning it isn’t an option, either, because she bought it in a whole other country.
Please don’t barrage my comments with how it’s rude to refuse gifts- I am aware, and really just don’t know what to do with it.

Except for the fact that it’s not… It’s that it’s mostly safe for work, but the not safe for work part is very loud. And the louder it is, the more people think it’s inherently inappropriate, which only makes it louder. It’s an unfortunate string of confirmation bias.
Let’s compare it to my fashion, lolita fashion! It shares a name with an infamous novel, and there are plenty of people who misuse it or say it’s not safe for work. And while yes, it does have that side to it (See: Ero Lolita), the fashion itself is completely modest.
This wiki itself states that the modern furry fandom isn’t meant to be inappropriate at all, and even a little bit of research would reveal that a big chunk of furries are minors!
And the issue with content filtering is something to be directed towards the moderators, not the furries themselves.
^I see and understand the point you’re making! However, it’s also important to understand that humans will do those sorts of things. While it may have originated from those sorts of magazines, the modern definition of furry is far from that- and while I’m certain there are people out there who like that sort of thing, that’s their business, assuming both parties are cool with it. So, like I said, it’s more of a content filtering issue.

Thats not the fault of the fans, isn’t it? The vast majority just wanted to share some cool art. And there are plenty of cute, safe-for-work pieces out there! It’s more of a content filtering issue than anything.

^^ while it’s true that the furry fandom does have some inappropriate topics, literally every fandom does. however, if you look at the wiki page, it literally states that it is focused around forms of art. i think you might just be experiencing confirmation bias. to say that the furry fandom is inherently inappropriate is like saying that metal music is inherently evil. it’s not, and from an objective standpoint doesn’t make any sense.
