This is not an aesthetic come on
@BlumeCity it's not that I necessarily have a problem with it being ugly or problematic, I just don't think it needs its own page. It's too specific and isn't visually cohesive.
@Gwenanenn fair but I still think it can easily be categorized into other aesthetics. It's basically just kidcore but with pop culture characters. It's an internet phenomenon, not an actual visual trend.
This is not an aesthetic come on
Hot topic!
@TomScouser98 it's okay, it sounds like it was just an honest mistake. And I dunno bc I'm not from south Africa or anything so I could be totally wrong. But I do think it's a thing people try to avoid.
Idk I feel like an aesthetic based around an entire country/region is bound to be racist (in that you're stereotyping the entire country). I think there's something about that in the removed aesthetics and why page.
@Samdalg I am too, and while it's not a super big thing to me, I still think it's pretty rude to say you don't give a crap about it (bc that person was obviously white)
@Qbtmbhj1 wow that kinda sounds like racism 🤔
Hmm I'm seeing a leaning towards grunge?
@Ungodlee but I mean other than the hair and dark circles under his eyes, is he really emo? I just don't see a lot of resemblance to the actual emo aesthetic
You're definitely giving goth energy! (I say this as a goth myself)
Other than like anime aesthetic or whatever.
White, grey, dark cyan (muted), black
Computers, security feeds, programming
Minimalist but dark and vaguely liminal space-y
2000s/2010s
Slightly old web
Scrolling through the comments and there's this one guy totally trying to defend it??? I really don't know 💀💀💀
To do shabby chic but masc? I only see ultra girly clothes when I look for shabby chic fashion. (And yeah I know the aesthetic itself would be considered very feminine but by girly clothes I mean like only dresses and skirts and stuff.)
Nice art!
Cabaret vibes?
Cartooncore?
Looks like scene to me
Like this if you are gay :>
So many of these sound freaking awesome!
