I'm still looking for decor ideas so if you would please reply that would be appreciated <3
My room:
Grunge, rock
80s Glam metal (which is a new interest)
Hippy//disco (Greta van fleet)
Cryptidcore (also new interest)
Other aesthetics fitting this general theme (vintage-y)
What I'm looking for:
Wall art
Things that are NOT basic. (ex. I refuse to put vinyl on my wall)
Garlands are kinda my thing rn
Things that hang from the ceiling that aren't vines or those worm things
Things I can make or thrift or antique.
Basic-ness is subjective, so don't hold back any of your ideas! all are welcome! Thanks :)))))
Weirdcore
I would definitly say that you're Emo, Goth, or Alt, but I'm not super versed with those aesthetics, so I would look into those, and some of their sub-types until you find a few aesthetics that match you best. And chances are you're more than one aesthetic. Personally, i would say I have at least 7 or 8 that I resonate with.
This is pretty similar to my style, and I say that its fairy grunge. When you look up fairy grunge on pinterest, this type of clothing usually shows up. I would disagree with the Emo, Goth, or Alt though because i typically associate black, red, and like neons(?) with them, and I feel like Fairy Grunge is more browns and greens. Also sort of a grunge Y2K vibe, especially from the first one.
I have this situation as well, but seeing as your aesthetics are very similar, its pretty easy to blend those styles. For example, mine are grunge, hippie, punk, classic rock, etc. I wouldn't say theyre similar, but they in the same 'realm' I guess. I would say the same for Cottagecore and Princesscore.
Adobe photoshop (very good), maybe Picsart (ive never used it but ive heard good things)
I have a mixed style of Grunge, hippie, vintage, classic rock, ,witchey, punk, aesthetics and my room mostly matches that. I want to make/buy more decor items... Any ideas are welcome :)
Here are some inspo pics... Basically a room straight out of the 90s .
I think its sort of and Art Grunge. I don't know if thats an actual thing, but thats just what I get from it.
