You're right, there is no need to tie yourself down to one specific aesthetic. Some people just might feel more comfortable like that. Some may like having a definitive, singular label and there's nothing wrong with that. It can get annoying sometimes.

From what you said, I think that your aesthetic may be something with the dark nature themed aesthetics, like goblincore or dark cottagecore. I'm not really sure though, so if you have any more details you'd like to add please do!
