I noticed that Frutiger Areo is stated to have become mainstream in late 2004, yet Y2K is stated as losing its relevance by the end of 2004. I feel like that’s too fast for a shift to occur.
If we acknowledge the early instances of FA in the late 2004-2006 period, then we should do the same for the residuals of Y2K in that period. I go into depth about this in “The Twilight Years of Y2K.”
Y2K influence in 2005-2006 was most prevalent in technology with the relevancy of Chromecore, sixth generation consoles, and Windows XP still being Microsoft's primary OS. Certain Y2K shows were still airing new episodes as well.
I suggest changing the Frutiger Areo range to 2006/7-2013 or including 2005-2006 in the Y2K range to make the overlap clearer.
