I’m Royale and I don’t have many aesthetics. I currently have 2, Yami Kawaii and Yume Kawaii. My favourite out of the two is Yami Kawaii, and I like how it sounds like: “Yeah, me Kawaii.”

Hey guys, so I'm gonna draw something based on one of these aesthetic pages but idk what yet. I already drew clowncore and whatever I draw, it's going to be similar to that, like in that realm ig. So I wanna do something like maybe liminal space, morute, traumacore, yami kawaii/medicalcore, etc. help me decide guys!!!

So, Jirai Kei is a relatively new aesthetic started in around 2020 in Japan (duh) and spread around on TikTok. It can be described as "dark but cute". (got that from the J-Fashion Wiki, and my own observation) I'd call it a mix of Menhera/Yami Kawaii, Larme Kei, and Kuromicore, though. Should we make a Jirai Kei page? Could I get some other opinions on this? Edit: Looked at the Kuromicore page again, and it's mostly Jirai Kei images. I am actually somewhat pissed at how redundant this post has become because of this realization.

I think that I made a new aesthetic but I don't really sure. I named it hospital kid. Its about mental health issues, hospitals, sickness, obsession with cleanliness, childish things. Its like delicate sweet + babycore + yami kawaii + medcore + cleancore. Key motifs is hospitals, soaps ( cleaning stuff ) , toys, pastel colors, sanrio, sylvania families, medical stuff. Its about a kid who suffers with mental health disorders or trauma, often been sick and like cleanliness ( or even have obsessive- compulsive disorder ) .

I'm confused on wether someone can participate in Yami Kawaii if they aren't diagnosed with depression. Since someone in traumacore shouldn't participate in it unless they have trauma, should the same be said with Yami Kawaii but with mental illnesses?

Hello! Long time Lurker, recently discovered some pages that piqued my interest and made me question why my aesthetic is.

> Yume Kawaii is cool, but I don't like clutter on my body and agree that it somewhat glorifies suicide. I do like that it's a vent for depression/anxiety.

> Same with Truamacore. I don't identify with it because it is an exclusive coping mechanism for trauma/CSA survivors. The grungy, sanrio, blingee.com edits I do like.
