During my recent extended stay in Berlin for a personal project, I had some time on my hand to stroll around the city and I was particularly looking forward to go explore the vibrant streets around Potsdamer Platz. To my delight, I stumbled upon an intriguing exhibition dedicated to the Solarpunk aesthetic. Intrigued, I decided to immerse myself in the world of 31 artists that were showing their Solarpunk inspired artworks, each offering their unique interpretation of this captivating aesthetic.
As the core maintainer of the Cyberparadism aesthetic, I'm quite accustomed to look for the nuances that differentiate various aesthetics, and it became clear to me quickly that some of the art exhibited would be better qualified as falling into the latter category. While some pieces arguably leaned more towards Cyberparadism than Solarpunk, the exhibition was undeniably enriching. Given the close parallels between the two aesthetics, the showcase provided a plethora of inspiration.
For those in or near Berlin, I wholeheartedly recommend experiencing this exhibition firsthand. It will be on display until the 8th of October.
