That's it for today! i will do 2 more aesthetics tomorrow! If you wanna be tagged tmmrw just comment down ''angel'' :)
I just thought I'd make this because I'm tired of people thinking they're the same thing when they're super different. Hopefully this will make people realize and make a page just for indie and put indie kid as a subgenre of kidcore or something.
Indie to me is very late 90s-early 2000s vibes. It was originally all about being yourself and it was a lot more alternative in today's standards. The original indie was really close to grunge in a lot of ways as well as vintage and stuff. It also has a lot more darker colours and some brighter colours are more faded if that makes any sense?
2. Indie Kid
This aesthetic is VERY similar to kidcore because of its bright colours and childlike themes, but I guess the colours of Indie Kid are slightly less about vibrance and more about just being very highly saturated. In my opinion, (if this is your aesthetic no hate to you) this is more of a "basic" aesthetic, fitting in closely with VSCO people and softie.
These 2 aesthetics are more different than I realized now that I've written this down lol! But that's just my input on Indie and Indie kid.
I’m trying to make OCs with opposite aesthetics, what would be the ”opposite aesthetic” of softie (specifically softgirl) ?
Hey everyone! I have been making Gacha Life characters and outfits based on aesthetics from this wiki, and I wanted to share them!
A more casual Princecore kid
Some sort of softboy/kawaii outfit
Victorian I believe (she seems more like a Lady than a princess)
And another Victorian
Let me know what you guys think! 😊
My personal aesthetic seems to be a mixture of Northerness, Soft People, and Comfy/Cozy...I'd call it nordiskt myspys (in Swedish: Nordic comfy-coziness) if I needed a unique label. The peaceful, comforting aspects of Scandinavian scenery and culture appeal to me strongly; even the ancient religion has a few warm, fuzzy elements if you know where to look. (Although I'm fairly well-traveled in Sweden and have practiced Norse paganism for over 20 years, the gritty warrior aspects of Viking life life have always felt less relatable: being a disabled, middle-aged woman will do that to you!)
