Some of my fave aesthetics from our cousin site, CARI(Consumer Aesthetics Research Institute)
I have more favorites if anyone’s interested, but I decided to cover just these
#1: Soft Countriana
Did you guys know that the first instance of Cottagecore goes back to the 1980s?
It originated as a conservative interior aesthetic, but regardless of political context I like the look of it, it’s like Cottagecore, Dollette, and Babycore mashed together.
#2 Preschool Pop
This one has likely been co opted a bit with Kidcore, but it originated in the 90s and has a bit more of an artsy feel to it.
Been debating adding this one to the Wiki
#3: Groovival
Mistakengly referred to as the “70s aesthetic”, this is the 90s interpretation of the Hippie look, it’s also referred to as Y2K hippie
The colors and symbols remind me of Indie Kid
Do you want to see pages of the last 2?
Untouched version
Drawn on version ft. my OC Blanca
Made on Paint3D (Windows 10) and pictures were from across the internet, but mostly Pinterest
What are your thoughts?

Feel free to make request, I can make a fused aesthetic playlist of a maximum of three aesthetics,
I made this collage of all of my favorite aesthetics and I don't know if I should combine these into one. If I do what should I call it?
PSA: I also simp for Aizawa :')

Since Valentine’s Day is tomorrow, I’ll share these
Top: Lovecore x Indie kid
Bottom: Tweencore x Lovecore
Btw, be sure to gimme more ideas, tho I can only take 1 idea per person sadly
For @Mariiiakene , hope this is right
Also, give me names for a random aesthetic or for aesthetics y’all come up with, but I may not do them right away
So, my aesthetic is indie kid. But i love reading too. Is there any aesthetics that love reading? And can i mix it with indie kid ?

Heyo! So, my wardrobe is pretty limited. I tore up a lot of shirts and wear those (usually attempting the 'punk' look). I only ever wear skinny jeans and doc martens, and my shirts tend to be pretty revealing. I'm wanting to change my style up a little bit. I really like indie kid, grunge and light academia, but Idk where to start. I can thrift a bunch of clothes easily and stuff. I'm really leaning towards 80's/90's indie for clothing style atm. Any advice on how to do that without having to spend a lot of monz (a.k.a. money)?
What even are the key differences? It seems like to me that Indie is supposed to be darker, but it's just transitioning to Indie Kid?
Also, I've been struggling to find much clothing and stationary that's bright and colourful, so that's why I've come to look at Indie. It's quite difficult to find it in Australia. Any store suggestions?
