What is like the effortless cool girl on TikTok with a bunch of jewelry but mixed metals and outfits that have fun belts, baby tees, low-rise baggy jeans, and off shoulder shirts, like a very indie vibe to it
Does this even make sense LOL
This is one of their most iconic songs for those who don’t know. Their music has that sadness to it idk how to put it. I’m guessing its indie but not sure
Hey, uhm, I can't identify what aesthetics could be this collection of music. Thought about After Hours or smth like that, bc I'm getting strong high school vibes, but chatgpt described it like 'Dreamy, Nostalgic Indie Aesthetic of Bedroom Pop and Dream Pop Music' or 'Indie Dream Pop / Indie Lo-Fi Aesthetic'.
Could you please help me to understand?

What would Indie and Cutecore look like mixed together?
Like describe it by picture
Sooooo... is Indie-Goth an aesthetic? And if it is, can someone add it to the wiki? I would, but I don't know if it'll count as an aesthetic or a personal one and I don't know how to edit/add pages anyway.
For context: I’m re-doing my room and rearranging everything to make it 🫶🏻indie🫶🏻 and I need help with the colors and what goes good with what for indie
(I’m an artist, so I’ll understand crazy color terms haha)
I made this collage of all of my favorite aesthetics and I don't know if I should combine these into one. If I do what should I call it?
PSA: I also simp for Aizawa :')

Mine are indie and poetcore, what are yall's?
(The picrew maker didn't have the creators name)
So im stuck between 4 aesthetics( dark academia, goblincore, indie, and witchcore). I know how to mix goblincore dark academia, and witchcore together, but how do i mix dark academia and indie together?? i really like both but they are quite different and i don't want to choose one. How would i wear clothes that are indie, but also dark academia ?
I recently just joined this wiki and i wanted to say hello, Also i love the aesthetics Angelcore and Elegant, some other aesthetics that i love are Minimalism, Cottagecore, Dreamcore. Light and Dark Academia and Weirdcore.
I also like Indie and Vintage too because their really cool
So I've been thinking about my aesthetic lately, and after talking with an aesthetically-minded friend of mine, I've decided on a combination of Indie and Fairycore as my main aesthetic, but I have some pretty Tweencore stuff too (likely due to being a tween when I got most of my current clothes xD). More Indie, I think, but with the pastels, sparkles, and jewelry from Fairycore. In Taylor Swift albums (because I'm like that), it's like Folklore and Evermore but also some 1989, especially Wildest Dreams, This Love, and Clean. I'm thinking about updating my aesthetic for the new school year, e.g. I love the saying, "Meddle not in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and good with ketchup", and I have a hot-pink T-shirt that says that, but it's getting kind of small and I was thinking of giving it to my younger sister and getting a new one in medium-gray with pastel pink lettering, which I think fits my aesthetic better. However, I'm sort of stuck on other clothing items-- I'm into things like cardigans in pale gold, silver/gray and pastel (I would love white but I can't wear white clothes due to being both a chocolate lover and a messy eater xD) and jeans or leggings (such as my pair that's black with pink flowers), but I hate being hot in the summer, which sort of limits my options. Plus, if I can get in a red scarf with my cardigan (especially if I hit the red lips and rosy cheeks as well), then I'm checking all the Swiftie boxes! Even better if it's also raining at 2AM... Also, does anyone have name suggestions for these vibes, and do the names Kate and Mila fit with them? Thanks!
A fun challange for whoever wants to try. I think my aesthetic is a combination of these so I was also wondering your takes on it.
Moodboard or description?
- ♡ Hello, my name is Junelyn! I am most of a really mood - changing person who can't decided on A THING, so I need some help!
- ♡ Some of my main aesthetics are (get ready for a LOOONG list buddy,,): weirdcore, cottagecore, indie, kidcore, sanirocore, dreamcore, hypercore. >ω<
- - here is a idea of a mix between these aesthetics? Any idea? (maybe new aesthetic?) (the pics are a sort of the deepest and purest side of the meaningful aesthetic)
- ♡ any ideas? New mixed aesthetic?
Here’s a list of 80s style and music pages I’m trying to bring awareness to (I’ve edited most of them) and some that have yet to be added. I’ve especially done a lot of work reworking Woodland Goth because there have been examples of style and music fitting that aesthetic since the 80s.
Here’s bands and musicians whose visual styles fit into these 80s era aesthetics:
New Romantic/Synthpop (Japan the Band)
Trad Goth/Batcave (Bauhaus)
Indie (The Smiths)
Post-Punk (Joy Division)
City Pop (Akiko Yano)
New Wave (Devo)
Deathrock (Patricia Morrison)
Cyberpunk (Gary Numan)
Steampunk (Thomas Dolby)
New Romantic/Rococopunk (Adam and the Ants)
Soft Post-Punk (Altered Images)
Baroque Pop (Shelleyan Orphan)
Dreamy (Julee Cruise)
Woodland Goth (Strawberry Switchblade, All About Eve, and Siouxsie Sioux)
I added extra photos for Woodland Goth just to really illustrate that this aesthetic has existed since the 80s.
There are a lot more Punk sub-genres that have existed since the 80s, although they haven’t been listed yet (like Hardcore Punk, though Queercore has thankfully been put amongst aesthetics already).
Edit: I strongly believe all Weirdcore comes from Frank Zappa, Captain Beefheart, The Residents, and Devo.
What even are the key differences? It seems like to me that Indie is supposed to be darker, but it's just transitioning to Indie Kid?
Also, I've been struggling to find much clothing and stationary that's bright and colourful, so that's why I've come to look at Indie. It's quite difficult to find it in Australia. Any store suggestions?
