Recently (literally a few moments ago) I discovered the aesthetic auroracore which almost felt like home, the aesthetic had my favorite colors as key ones, and I love the idea of magic being tied to our souls (not fiction-like magic, a more "realistic" kind of magic) and it being represented artistically... My art even looks like the ones in the wiki !!
The problem is... it's too childish ? I don't is just- i've always been a romantic (even considered romantic academia), Anne Shirley-like, but there was always much deeper thought behind my magical beliefs, it isn't like "I wish magic existed" it is "Magic do exist, but it is invisible to the naked eye".
Speaking like this I could consider Fairy Academia, but the wiki just makes it looks so... bad ? Not wanting to offend anyone, but one of the fairy academics interest being "con and scheming" ? It doesn't falls right to me. Of course it makes sense with the original fairy culture, but you don't want to reproduce those activities (I hope).
Ok, putting my thoughts on words straight from the best site for self-discovery: uQuiz.
"mushroom identification books, fairy gardens, pouring tea into matching tea sets, days hidden in the library, wisteria growing over book pages, alice in wonderland, victorian handmirrors -- you like whimsical things and if things aren't whimsical enough, you'll make them so. maybe you'll see something peculiar and make a story for it. maybe you'll find a garden and make it home. anywho, you value creativity. also, there is something enchanting about old fairy tales to you. so go have a picnic in the woods and maybe the pixies will take you to their tulip houses -- it's worth a try | book recs: grimm's fairy tales, the secret garden by frances hodgson burnett, a midsummer's night's dream by shakespeare, metamorphoses by ovid"
"our intuition touches on things our rational minds cant understand and i think that's what magic is."
"you are at least somewhat tuned in to the natural consciousness of our planet. you are capable of intuitive communication with nonhuman beings. TRUST this communication. start asking more questions."
"this is what will always be ungraspable. there is no way to completely understand. and yet, we want to anyway. we will always be the children with faces pressed up against the railing of the observatory, the glass of the aquarium. just yearning to hold a star. this is what keeps the human spirit eternally young. the stars look down us upon like aunts, doting and tutting and watching us grow. and we will grow. we will learn. it is in our bones. in yours. you will learn. this is the light that is in our joints, our veins, iron and carbon, in every living thing that has ever been and ever will be. it is far, it is near, it is here, inside of you, and it always will be. you walk among this light, always. continue to learn, little one. the universe would be proud."
Ok, that's it. I'm looking out for something that holds the mindset of the quotes above but with the aesthetic of auroracore, I will obviously have to make up something on my own but does anyone have some aesthetics from where I could get inspiration ? Perhaps some pictures or references ? I have an idea on mind but I need to feed it.
