What aesthetic should i draw my oc in? Nothing cringe plz! (Tramacore is cringe so dont say that)
So, i've been looking at this concept for a while, and after abandoning my account for no reason, i'm finally making this post. But now so you don't have to read a 900 letter opening, i'm just gonna get to the point. So I adore both of these (Gorecore not as much) and I was wondering how you think this would be viewed? For me it's probably horror games (ones that may fit both of them) or something?? I'm not that sure so I won't your ideas!
Unrelated note : This is my first post on this wiki so i'm not what category it goes into.
So one day, i was bored and didnt knew wth should i draw, so i came up with making aesthetics as ocs. Heres the first two i made:
The first one is this Frutinger Aero/Eco Doggy (nicknamed Aero)
2nd - Cybercore/Y3K Gato (nicknamed Cyber)
Feel free to comment down below on which aesthetic should i do next, please do be noted that i might avoid extremely controversial aesthetics like eg: Conquette.
As for obscurer aesthetics, pls attach some images, so i wont mess them up with other aesthetics.
I’m planning to do The Metro Aesthetics (Frutinger Metro & Vectorflourish) next.
Who knows maybe they can have their own pages in the future unless if that has been all ready done.
Keep in mind SwagPunk Pop has alot of subgenres
Gothicpunk Pop
Saturatedpunk Pop (CW/ Eye strain) basicly even more colorful and some elements of Glitchcore and other stuff too
Medical Swag/Nurse Punk (CW/ Possible Drug overdose & Blood)
Cyberpunk Scientist/Swag Cyberpunk Lab
Swagpunk Kemono (aka Swagpunk Furry)
Swagenemo (pronounced as Swag-ene-mo) *however I don't think there is enough ideas aesthetic subgenre due to it being really small.
SwagPunk Pop does have some elements and inspiration of Cyberpunk as well as a little fun fact.
The only criticism I can give to Swag Punk is the AI Art dilemma because some examples I found there are AI Art but I added them because so I can keep track on the aesthetic itself despite not showing any AI examples... Sorry. I mean Superflat Pop did get cirticism too on the wiki but I'm not say it here.
For Frutiger Cyber (formerly Early Aero) I would like to see more examples like Windows Longhorns devoplement, Windows Wistler, and other examples too... Maybe Windows XP can count for the Frutiger Cyber since I see some people say it's Frutiger Aero or Cybercore and I say it's both and that's why I also like to put Frutiger Cyber too.
So I guess that's what I have to say. Just something I wanted to share here.
So I'm doing some cleanup on Memphis Design. It struck me that second and third generation consoles of the 80s (e.g. Mattel Intellivision, NES, Game Boy, SG-1000, Sega Master System) are strikingly cassette futurism, but around 1990 an obvious shift happened with the blocky designs shifting to much more curved ones, like the Sega Genesis and Mega Gear (the SNES is either an outlier among contemporaries or in-between the two design languages).
Could these be considered the earliest precursors of Cybercore?

From a rhythm game, Beatmania IIDX. It utilizes some Metalheart aesthetics.
Not the best but take this crap
Also that's Dixie's sister, she doesn't have a nameee
Should we change “Cyber Grunge” to “Y2K Cyber Grunge” because it’s way to similar to the name “Cybergrunge”?
Cybercore/Robotcore
Not me being addicted to making these
Please send pictures or short descriptions/summaries or drawings of what the masculine clothing versions of futuristic aesthetics would look like, because I'm making an oc out of them.
Thanks :]
EDIT: I wanted to tag Xspritualism because it strongly relates with the vibe I want to catch but Fandom was lagging so I couldn't :/
!!! i'm new here, i've been observing for a long time, i have questions about whether or not i (as a jew and a native american) am allowed to publish wiki on aesthetics i've observed specific to those demographics? i also have a question, if i could publish a wiki on an atlantis: the lost empire (2001)-related aesthetic (kind of a combination of cybercore, tropical, and zen tranquility)... i read through all of the guidelines obviously but i'm disabled and have really bad understanding of rules sometimes sjfhdkjas. anyone with help thank you and nice to meet y'all
EDIT: i want to specify that the atlantis-related wiki would not be solely centered around that movie, it is just related to it because it's the easiest way i can simply describe the aesthetic
For some reason the current dark mode background has always bugged me, especially since it doesn’t match with light mode and the resolution is pretty bad, but I was bored so I decided to make a new one! If any admins see this you 100% have my permission to use this as the background! :D
(ps i listened to evanescence while making this for some reason lmao)
So I’ve heard about another subgenre of Frutiger Aero called Frutiger Glacier, and I’m kinda wondering if it’s an actual thing worthy of a page. I actually had a page very similar to this called Digital Winter on the Personal aesthetics wiki because I didn’t know if there was enough info on it, but now I’m wondering if it should be made a page here?
If this does become a page though I think it should be called Cyber Glacier instead because I feel like theres too many FA subgenres imo (plus it’s a lot closer to Cybercore anyway)
Happy December! I decided to change my phone backgrounds for the season, and since I posted one of these for autumn back in October I thought I’d also post my winter background too! :D
So recently I was making demo/temporary UI for a game I'm developing with a friend, and despite my efforts to make it look entirely Frutiger Aero, it ended up being... kinda? Frutiger Aero? Not sure what aesthetic this has but it's definitely in the vein of blobjects, Jell-O, Frutiger Aero, and y2k/cyber y2k. I can't pinpoint quite where it is though.
The original image images are basically microscopic by today's standards so I attached a screenshot of the image instead.
They're primarily a saturated royal purple or deep blue (specifically a hex code of 3a00ff) with heavy gloss to the point where it resembles glass or water.
Usually has some degree of resemblance to the 'futuristic User Interface' of the early-2010s.
(Ignore all of the symbols, that's for the weird cult-thing I'm developing, I promise it's not demonic, it's the symbols for Vesta, Ceres, and Pallas)
If I had to give it a name, I think it would be something along the lines of Frutiger Oceanic or something like that.
