And why does one go all the way back to 1600's while the other starts late 1800's (IIRC; I do know that it's different for the two pages)?

I just am so relaxed to know all the aesthetics that make up me, after years of going through an identity crisis
I like:
Art
Plants
Vintage
Grunge style
Color purple black blue and yellow
Music
Fashion
Astronomy
I have a mixed style of Grunge, hippie, vintage, classic rock, ,witchey, punk, aesthetics and my room mostly matches that. I want to make/buy more decor items... Any ideas are welcome :)
Here are some inspo pics... Basically a room straight out of the 90s .
Casual user here, i was looking around aesthetic a while ago and i found one along the lines of "a boring office job in the 70s/80s". i cant find it again and would appreciate the help

I tend to mix some vintage with gothic and dark academia. I live in Europe, so it's harder with shipping from America. My music taste oscillates between classical, gothic metal, gothic rock, darkwave and movie soundtracks. I have trouble finding brands that would sell clothes in this style, so thanks in advance for any clues and answers!

Is there a vintage aesthetic based on the beach and surfing? These pictures would fit very nicely
I think it could be a great page to make, but I don’t have the time to work on it.
So i wanna make my room based on my aesthetics n rn i hv no clue how to merge these aesthetics..my aesthetics are :
1. Grunge/egirl/eboy
2. Dark academia
3. Vintage
4. Spacecore
Привет everyone! Can anyone offer some tips? I want to redecorate my room but I'm not in a position to do much concerning walls or furniture. Both of those don't exactly align with my desired color palette; the walls are cold gray and the furniture ivory. On the plus side though, I have a lot of books and cool shiny vintage trinkets like teacups and models. I also have a great big set of string lights that hang down my window right now but I can move. I'm really just looking for some suggestions to work around the unfortunate color of my furniture. It's surprisingly hard to maintain harmony in interior design...
Make a moodboard from my extensive Pinterest board. this board has so many sections lmao-

I have so many things on there, it's insane.
So um I think this would be like a mix of vintage and grunge with a bit of plant mom?? Anyways here's some outfits that fit with that sorta 90s theme!!
I just thought I'd make this because I'm tired of people thinking they're the same thing when they're super different. Hopefully this will make people realize and make a page just for indie and put indie kid as a subgenre of kidcore or something.
Indie
Indie to me is very late 90s-early 2000s vibes. It was originally all about being yourself and it was a lot more alternative in today's standards. The original indie was really close to grunge in a lot of ways as well as vintage and stuff. It also has a lot more darker colours and some brighter colours are more faded if that makes any sense?
2. Indie Kid
This aesthetic is VERY similar to kidcore because of its bright colours and childlike themes, but I guess the colours of Indie Kid are slightly less about vibrance and more about just being very highly saturated. In my opinion, (if this is your aesthetic no hate to you) this is more of a "basic" aesthetic, fitting in closely with VSCO people and softie.
These 2 aesthetics are more different than I realized now that I've written this down lol! But that's just my input on Indie and Indie kid.
Hey y'all I found my aesthetic!! My main 3 aesthetics are Indie (NOT INDIE KID), grunge, and vintage, mixed with a little bit of traditional korean, kidcore, and plant mom. What do you guys think? And are there any aesthetics that could combine the ones I mentioned here??
I'm bored and recently got inspired so I made these. Hope you enjoy whether you like it or not.
You can go play here with this link.
Spacecore with pastel filter.
Retro/Vintage in 50's-esque.
Foodie.
Steampunk+Trenchcore+Military.
Diner with a bit of nostalgiacore and basic.
Bibliopunk. Sadly this maker do not have enough punk options.
Hellenic.
Warning : blood (in case if anyone is uncomfontable even if it's in cartoon style.)
Gorecore. Maybe with a little bit of SacriCore because of religion theme.
The last one is quite big since I also post this on reddit.
1.Eastern/Oriental. In Japanese theme. That page got delete but it doesn't mean eastern style do not exist.
2.I want to give her baddie/streetwear style.
3.Lovecore mix with kawaii.
4.Devilcore with a bit of cute aesthetics such as fairy kei or yumekawaii.
5 .Classic academia with light academia after. Don't want to follow dark academia reader cliche.
6.A bit of hard one. I went with Victorian dress theme with dark paradise and maybe some cutester aesthetic.
7. Basic with chic modernist, academia style.
8 - 9 are the same as the first one. They are my KnY ocs.
My clothing style is usually a mix of modernised historical clothing, usually in black or dark colours like mauve and stuff. I love Jane Austen/Brontë books, and I usually take inspiration from Tudor, Stuart and late Colonial fashion with a bit of Victorian, but often with jeans or shorter skirts with tights to replace the long dresses/skirts. I’m a huge Ravenclaw, definitely not that gothic but I identify with Dark Academia a lot. I’m surprisingly a Christian so I really don’t want anything relating to witchy aesthetics.
I really like this photo but I'm not sure what aesthetic it would be considered.
Ive been trying to figure out for a while but i'm pretty all over the place so idk. i think i'm a mix of a few but there's just so many that i'm drawn to like indie kid, grunge, bloomcore, vintage, dazecore etc.
Anyways
Colours: soft, dark and neon faded colours
Music: lofi, indie/alternative, grunge, pop/rock, punk, kpop
*I LOVE MARIANAS TRENCH*
Hobbies i guess: anything to do with the arts (acting, singing, playing instruments, writing songs, writing poems, painting, drawing etc.) but also video games like minecraft
Vibe: 1. evening/night outside doing crazy stuff with my friends and making memories
2. midnight in my bedroom talking to my friends on discord while doing homework/studying with music playing in the background as the soft glow of the moon shines through my window
I hope this is enough lol
For the people that see and need inspiration of the vintage style, make sure to read this post. Most of my sources were from Light Academia fashion. Make sure to check that page out if you think it's right for you.
Polo shirts
Baggy/wide leg jeans*
Over sized shirts*
White shoes* (Nike is best, but I wear Adidas)
Chandelier earrings
Turtle necks
Belts
Doc Martens (optional)
Layered Necklaces*
* Definitely needed for the vintage style
There are many more things if you just explore, but hopefully this is enough to get you started. I checked up "vintage outfits" online and it got me many great outfit inspos. If you need any places to buy your clothes, make sure to check thrift stores.
I found out my aesthetic and I absolutely adore it! :D My aesthetic is Retro/Vintage Academia.
