theres this art style ive found in a ton of relatively older communities that id like to put a name to. its present in a lot of anime fanart from the late 2000s (touhou (<3) in particular) and old vocaloid mvs. ill link some examples below.

i feel like some major elements present throughout it are the heavy shading, the use of detailed facial anatomy, a generally grungy sorta look? perhaps some gothic lolita themes as well.

there are some visual similarities to art from death note (ie. the way facial features are given detail and shaded) and the art from both persona and danganronpa as well!

i feel like it would be fair to compare this art style/aesthetic (?) to anime new moon although i feel like it has a much spookier look to it in general, the colors are much darker and the faces have much more detail.
