It's okay not to like an aesthetic... What isn't okay is to act like it doesn't belong.
Aesthetic itself can mean three things :
1) The philosophy of beauty and taste: The branch of philosophy that deals with the nature of beauty, art, and taste (e.g: What makes something beautiful?, How do we judge good or bad taste?, What is the purpose of art?).
2) A particular style or set of principles governing the appearance of something:
This refers to the overall look and feel of something by specific elements like: Colors, Shapes, Textures, Patterns, Composition.
3) An individual's taste or sense of beauty:
This meaning focuses on personal preferences for what someone finds aesthetically pleasing. It encompasses individual choices like Clothing, Music, and Art.
Even though scene-core seems like a "trend" and "people take scene and make it something it's not". Some people really feel connected to this aesthetic, it's to their taste which enough by it self makes it worthy enough to be considered aesthetic.
Now covering the part about Scene evolution:
Everything evolves and changes, Music, Art, and Philosophy and This applies to aesthetics as well (whether we like it or not). Old aesthetic can and will change, But rather than us griping and groaning how "horrible" things are become, we should instead be proud of the new generation for taking something old and making it into something new (Renewal philosophy). Even if it's completely garbage (e.g: scenecore/rawring 20's) and my die out quickly, it will come around. like the famous quote "the world repeats itself".
And while we are on the subject of quotes. I have one for the older generation:
We all love Aesthetics and its beauty...We draw on many of its different inspirations. Though some will try to create new ones, While others tend to dwell on the preexisting ones, All of it is a valid form of beauty and creativity (the core of aesthetics). But don't ever say that it's "not aesthetic, or beautiful, or sad, disappointing, cringe... (etc....)".
We are the future whether you like it or not... Yes you led us... You led us greatly, But I think it's time for us to lead and grow, our time to adapt and change. It may not be the same, we may fall, trip and make mistakes, but in the end we too will stand tall and lead a new generation."
