I've been seeing a lot of people call aesthetics cringe or say that people who follow or even enjoy aesthetics are putting themselves in a box, which I don't agree with. Sure some people do, but most don't. I've also been seeing a lot of people compare what they consider "fake" or "new" aesthetics to what they think are "real" ones. Usually things like Kidcore, 2020 indie, etc I believe it's called that? And pretty much anything with the core suffix is targeted. I don't understand why people think that one aesthetic is more "real" or "valid" than others, like, what makes scene better than Kidcore? (Using this an example cause I saw people compare them.) Because one has been around for longer? I'm just kinda annoyed with this community, why can't everyone at least try to get along? Sorry if this seemed like a rant or was kinda all over the place.
