I find it odd that there are so many articles on here about some very obscure aesthetics, but no oceanpunk. Maybe because of the fact there is Seapunk on here, people assume they are the same?
@Geezeycore Oceanpunk is a scifi genre that started in the 90s, and is focused on technology used to explore or colonise the ocean. Whereas Seapunk is a bright, sea themed 2000s/2010s fashion aesthetic. I think an example of oceanpunk might be the movie Water World - although I've only watched the trailer one time, so I may be wrong.
