I'm mostly making this post for anyone who's interested in dragoncore, because there isn't much on it.

For my entire life I have considered my mum "dragon like". I've been thinking it alot again recently too. I think she would either be an ocean dragon or, more likely, a fire dragon.

My home has always been filled with her beautiful collections.

- fantasy art

- dragon statues

- crystals

- creatures

And this is just a few items from the living room. The kitchen has a pole full of light catchers and trinkets.

The spiders also live in the windows with our metal bats and some plants.

And she collects shinies gallore. She makes jewellery from sea glass and has boxes upon boxes of crystals and things that "might be useful".

Each room is has a colour (living room is purple, kitchen is green, bedroom is red, kids bedroom is silver, etc) which brings the abundance of collections together to look tidy.

And finally, her bedroom reminds me of howls room. When I was little it used to feel like a terrifying cave full of treasures and now she has hand made shelves which reach across one whole wall, from top to bottom full of carefully organised treasure. And when the curtains are shut it looks like a dragons hoard.

Here are 2 of my favourite features-

Most of her things are second hand, gifts or things she has collected over her lifetime.

The reason I would consider her a fire dragon is because of the collections and love of jewellery, but also she only dresses in black and is protective and has a fiery attitude.

The only reasons I'd consider her an ocean dragon is because she loves the beach and feels most relaxed in the sea. I think sea glass might be her biggest collection yet.

I am aware that these things can also fit into different aesthetics and I have considered it, but, to me, she has always radiated dragon energy and I have always associated her with dragons.
