Even though my style has some of these two traits, I have to agree with @Nightmarishfriend . It's that whole insta-influencer lifestyle but for TikTok. This entire lie of being effortlessly perfect and put together. Also, when you look at those who partake in the trend, 95% of them are young, thin white women who are financially secure. It's Goop Jr., packaging being wealthy and conventionally pretty as "wellness".

It's bland. One needs flaws and cracks in order to be unique. One who subscribes to the ideo of perfection without flaws is an imbecile, one who thinks flaws are the only thing this world has is one too. Without flaws, you become something of a decorative dinner plate. Sure, you look pretty. But what the hell is the point in keeping you around the house if you're not dishwasher safe?
