I rarely, if ever, dress femininely, much to the chagrin of my traditional Catholic parents. I'm an AFAB non-binary person, and I feel far less dysphoric about my hips, chest, etc. when I'm dressed in loose-fitting, masculine clothes. Anyway, I feel like my main aesthetic when it comes to clothes is sort of like a more casual, grungey version of horror punk? Most of my fashion inspiration comes from movies like The Outsiders and those really old, grainy photos of MCR from 2001-2003 lmao.
My music taste, if that helps, includes the following bands/artists:
-My Chemical Romance
-The Smiths
-The Cure
-Jazmin Bean
-Placebo
-The Used
-Bauhaus
-Sisters of Mercy
-The Misfits
-Creeper
-Elita
-angelic milk
-Squirrel Nut Zippers
-Simon and Garfunkel
-Nicole Dollanganger
-Nova Twins
-Fall Out Boy (mainly their pre-hiatus stuff)
-The Smashing Pumpkins
-Hole
-Lemon Demon
-Edith Piaf
-Hozier
-AFI
-Leathermouth
-The Oval Portrait
I also listen to the Rocky Horror soundtrack a lot. My other interests include comic books, supernatural phenomena, philosophy, horror media, art, and writing poems and short stories.
My dream wardrobe would probably include the following:
-black denim jacket or leather jacket with lots of patches and pins
-lots of stuff with campy horror imagery (bats, cartoonish vampires, ghosts, Frankenstein, spiders, etc.)
-baggy camo shorts
-ripped black jeans
-graphic T-shirts that say things like "HOMOPHOBIA IS GAY" or "BORN IN A GRAVEYARD, RAISED BY A WITCH, HALF MOTHERFUCKER, HALF SON OF A BITCH"
-black Doc Martens and red or black Converse
-early 20th century men's clothes (I know, out of place among the other things I listed, but I just love how they look dhgdkjfgfkdsgrdfjkghir)
Incidentally, I also love the morute aesthetic. It kind of helps me cope with my religious trauma, and, let's face it, it just straight up looks awesome. My room contains a ton of creepy antique dolls and little statues of angels, cats and rabbits.
I've tagged a few aesthetics that I enjoy a lot but didn't mention.
