Black is a good choice yet basic. I’d go with a brown. If you take a more colorful approach then maybe a dark blue. I hope this is useful.

@XPurplX thank you so much! if you'd be so kind to give me some ideas for shades of brown? i dont want to dye my hair black because i like to change colors often and black would make that next to impossible to do after the fact!
