While exploring pinterest, i found many boards, pins and even accounts with the word "middlepot", all related to the same aesthetic. sometimes, the word "pooftie" too. i related a lot with the aesthetic, it's very comforting, soft and nostalgic, and not like any other i have seen before. i only find the pictures i want if i search for "middlepot", to be honest. i even found at the urbandictionary one definition (here) then i found out that this is actually the artistic name of the aesthetic creator and that she has a website and everything... i even asked her personally the name of the aesthetic, and she said it has no name and it's just a mix between multiples.
She has a project called "poofties" where she makes stories, games and merch of her characters, that are cute little animals (like sanrio???). she got the user "pooftie" on social media and i have seen people posting on pinterest the aesthetic calling it "pooftie" or "poofties" because of the project, too.
The thing is, her personal aesthetic doesn't have a specific name and is very different from everything i have seen. the motifs are very particular and the "feel" is different from other ones. many people are getting inspired by it and it's growing as a tiny little community for some time now, i would say. i have seen lots of people making accounts with user similar to this like "pufie" or "ponfi" or anything that sounds like "puf" (because it's the main character from poofties), while using the middlepot aesthetic.
My question is, is it okay for me to make a page of this aesthetic, as it's growing more popular? should i make it with the name "middlepot" that everyone is using on pinterest or just make up something else related to poofties, adding a sufix? like "sanrio aesthetic" became "sanriocore", for example.
Before anyone asks, i talked to her personally before coming here and she said she wouldn't mind having the name used here.
I'm a little confused of what i should do, because this aesthetic is something different from the other ones i found but i haven't seen anyone using a proper "aesthetic word" for it. i want it to become more popular, me and my friends love it so much and it has inspired us lately.
