Hi hi, I had no idea that there were so many aesthetics to 'choose from' and I'm having a hard time trying to find one that best suits.
I'll try and be as blunt as I can with what I like/don't like so I don't confuse everyone more than I confuse myself (｡ﹷ ‸ ﹷ )
The most obvious thing to start off with is the use of kaomoji. I frequently use the site for posts and quick emotes. I love modern Japanese pop-culture, such as anime, manga, art, and music. I'm listening to an artist rn that might help as well. I've been studying the language for 6-7 years now and songs with darker/relatable themes are my go-to, specifically Kikuo, Neru, Wowaka etc. (If you listen to these artists, then you might know what I'm talking about)
I like to decorate my belongings (specifically sketchbooks and backpacks) with stickers, pins, and badges. I also have a small string of fairy lights wrapped around my bed frame. I have a fondness for plushes, as well as decorating my windowsill with various items of interest (drink cans with nice designs, various lights, a cute snowglobe from my childhood, and a small plastic anime stand of a character. My room is messy 70% of the time, though I prefer it to be somewhat clean.
With colours, I don't have a specific favourite, rather I have colour schemes I prefer. (I'm an artist, so it's a struggle) I can refer to the colour schemes of my characters for this, with the most common colours being a cooler colour (pale blue or lilac) being paired with a warmer colour (light yellow) My persona is guilty of this •͈ 𓎺 •͈
Another thing to point out is that I love dusk. I'm never awake for it ofc but I love the colours and the overall atmosphere. The cool air, the stars starting to fade as the sun peeks from the horizon. The dew on the plants and the chirping of birds as the world slowly starts to wake. I find it quite nice. My favourite weather is rain, simply because of the breathtaking sight of the sun's rays piercing through the layers of grey clouds. I captured this as an example
Sorry for the long post, it turned out larger than anticipated. If anyone has any questions that would help to determine a result, don't hesitate.
Thank you for your time, Calli
