Art movements can be considered "aesthetics" because they consist of some sort of philosophy or emotion the art wants to evoke. That's also what aesthetics do. Not sure about the J-fashion thing though. Will read up about it more. -G
I mean, one could make the argument fashion in and of itself is an artform with some sort of philosophy or emotion it wants to invoke. That's why art movements, J-fashion, or even just fashion in general are considered aesthetics.
